Outside Chapel
Welcome to
West End Chapel.

You are most welcome to come along and worship with us. We are an independent evangelical church associated informally with the 'Open' Brethren Movement.

Sometimes it is not easy to walk into a building full of strangers but we assure you of a warm welcome.

Our Sunday Morning Service is at 10:00am - this is followed by time for a chat over a hot drink and biscuits. The Breaking of Bread Service (Communion) is at 6:30pm except for the last Sunday of the month, when the Breaking of Bread (Communion) is included as part of the Morning Service. On those occasions we have 'Praise & Preaching' in the evening instead.

FUN DAY - Saturday 9th June 2012

Our next Fun Day for children of School years R through 6 will be held between 10:00am and 2:00pm on Saturday 9th June 2012. The day will include games, crafts, a quiz and Bible stories. A lunch will be provided.

Normally this service is about 40 minutes of praise through the singing of various hymns and spiritual songs followed by a sermon that normally lasts about 20 minutes. The sketch to the right shows the location of our Chapel in the West End of Fareham. You can access larger maps from the following sites:

  • Google
  • Multimap
  • Streetmap
  • If you are coming from Fareham town centre, take the A27 to Southampton. Shortly after passing under the railway bridge, you will come to a set of traffic lights. Turn left into Redlands Lane. Proceed along here and turn right into St Michaels Grove. There is a church (St John's) on the far side of this junction. Turn right into Fairfield Avenue at the sign for the church and then left after the shops on your left hand side. You are now in St Annes Grove. This will dog leg to the right and then the chapel is at the end of the road on your left. There is ample parking to the chapel site at the rear and side of the building.

If you are coming from Southampton along the A27, you cannot turn right into Redlands Lane. Instead, you will need to carry on under the railway bridge and come all the way round at the roundabout. You can then turn left into Redlands Lane at the lights as described above.

We look forward to seeing you.
